Look Ahead: August 21, 2022

"Satan trembles when he sees, the weakest saints on their knees." -- William Cowper

In our journey through Ephesians, we have paused on a very famous passage of Scripture - the armor of God. While many emphasize the armor, Paul's main focus was to encourage the saints of God to "stand" against our enemy.

We have learned the source of our strength to stand and we have also examined our preparation to stand, this Sunday (August 21, 2022) we will learn saints of God can stand against our enemy - in prayer.

As we await this Sunday, "redeem the time" by preparing your heart for our gathering. Take time to pray through this list:

  1. Ask God to prepare your heart to worship Him.

  2. Ask God to lead our worship team, ushers, members, visitors, Sunday School teachers, and church staff as final preparations for our gathering take place.

  3. Ask God to prepare your heart to hear His Word and to use Pastor Drake to magnify God through the public proclamation (preaching) of His Word.

  4. Ask God to open the eyes of those who are not saved to see their need of Jesus.

Finally, use the guide below as a way to make final preparations for Sunday's gathering. Psalm 95:6 says, "Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!"
