Look Ahead: December 5, 2021

Worldwide, the Marvel Films rank at the top of the charts. The Avengers: Endgame movie has made over $800 million alone. Movie fans around the world would eagerly await the release of each film and willingly stand in line in anticipation of the movies based on comic book heroes.

Most often after sitting in a movie theater through an entire movie, as soon as the credits begin scrolling on the big screen, movie goers would exit the theater. However Marvel Films did something extraordinary. Once the credits were shown, another short movie clip would be shown that would reveal a glimpse of the next movie. Instead of leaving during the credits, fans would wait in anticipation to see what will happen next.

We are at the end of our journey in Acts. We will learn that Luke abruptly ends his letter written to Theophilus. Scholars have mixed opinions on why Luke ends suddenly and we can even be left wondering "What happens next?"

Instead of asking the question, "What happens next in Acts?", I would like for us to ask the question, "How can the church move forward with Kingdom Ministry?"

So you are invited to join us this Sunday morning, December 5, 2021, as we end our journey in Acts and ponder how our church family can move forward in Kingdom Ministry. Invite a friend to join you as we worship our great God through singing, praying, fellowship, and hearing from God's Word.

Sermon Passage:

Sermon Question:

How can the church move forward with Kingdom Ministry?

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I thank for Your Heavenly Rule. I ask today 'may Your Kingdom come, may Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.' Give me a Kingdom mindset and use me for Kingdom Ministry. I surrender my will to Your will and give me the strength to commit to the work of the Kingdom today. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
