Look Ahead: May 22, 2022

Updated: May 19, 2022

Towering over 1,300 feet in height, the World Trade Center was the world's tallest building for a brief time. More than record setting measurements, the World Trade Center was also a symbol of accomplishment, achievement, and success for the United States of America when its construction was completed in 1973.

Sadly, on September 11, 2001, the world was stunned by the terrorist attacks on American soil. The United States of America will never forget that horrific day as the World Trade Center was destroyed, and many lives were lost.

Prior to its opening in 1973, reports show over 100 designs were discussed before deciding on the final design. The foundation of the tower was over 70 feet deep. The tower was so large, it even had its own zip code. From design to completion, construction for the tower took 14 years to complete. All of the planning, preparation, and hard work culminated in the historical building known as the World Trade Center.

In our journey through Ephesians, we have learned God is building His Church. Our current series, titled Spiritual Designer: How Jesus Designed His Church, has examined the wonderful truth of Ephesians 4:11-16. As we continue in this passage, prayerfully examine how God can use you to build up His Church.

We hope you will consider worshiping with us this Sunday. If you are new to FBC-Carmi or it's your first time reading our Look Ahead series, use the guide below to prepare your heart for our worship gathering.
